While his mother represented divine justice, she personified justice in the world of men. According to other sources, she was the daughter of Astreo and Eos. She was also the last immortal to live among humans during the Golden Age of Cronos, leaving Earth last when it deteriorated with the arrival of the Bronze Age. Zeus raised her to heaven, placing her among the stars as the constellation of Virgo, and the scales in her hands became the nearby constellation of Libra.
